December 20, 2012Ukrainian satanic pop metal band SEMARGL has introduced two new bandmembers: Adele Ri on vocals and Romulus on bass/vocals. The group's new lineup made its live debut at the Halloween Horror Night 2012 at Bingo in Kiev. Video footage of the performance can be seen below.
Adele Ri previously collaborated with SEMARGL on the "Satanic Pop Metal" album, contributing vocals to the songs "I Hunger", "Drag Me To Hell", "God Is Not Love", "Opium", "Loneliness" and "Redire". Going forward, Adele Ri will perform with band live and appear on future recordings.
After five years of close cooperation, Hannibal decided to leave SEMARGL for personal reasons and was replaced by Romulus.
SEMARGL is currently recording its sixth album for a 2013 release.
SEMARGL describes its sound as follows: "Aggression of satanic black metal, technical elements of old-school thrash and dynamism of rock'n'roll' combined with a totally unexpected lyrical piano parts and clean female vocals and industrial electronic samples. The lyrics touch on issues concerning Satanism, anti-Christianity, philosophy, war."
